The converted hayloft, and the most private of the four
Il Fienile is reached by its own external stone staircase, which is the first thing that makes it feel separate and the reason people who book it tend to book it again. A picture window frames the valley from the first floor, high enough that the house below stops registering.
It is a two-person apartment, and it does not pretend otherwise. Underfloor heating carries the cold months; the window carries everything else.
